This typical Yucatecan platter was my breakfast, lunch and dinner today. The point total could easily reach 50, maybe 60, because each item is made of corn masa, stuffed with beans, meat and eggs, then deep fat fried in lard and finally topped with turkey, cabbage, onions soaked in a sour oragne sauce, avocado and white cheese. As I write this at 8:30 pm, I am eating 1 c yogurt and an apple....the first food I have had since inhaling the food shown above at about 7:30 this morning following a dawn visit to the archeological site of Dzibilchaltun to witness the spring equinox sunrise. At least I walked today...3.20.2010

They look (and sound) delicious and filling.
The first few bites of everything were unbelievably delicious. All together, however, was not a good thing...neither pointwise nor healthwise.
How many communal meals do you have during a week?
