The spring semester group was lucky enough to experience the spring equinox at Dzibilchaltun. They voted that the fall group should definitely see the fall equinox so we did. (I had the wrong date for the fall equinox last year....yes, one of my finer moments as a program director.) We were there waaaaaaaayyyyyyy too early - 5:00 and the phenomena did not occur until a little after 7:00, but we also agreed that the wait seemed short because we were able to experience the millions of stars in the dark sky just as the ancient Mayans would have. These are but a few of the photos I took.
