More than just flamingos...

The husband of this semester's visiting professor is a birder, has a good camera and a good eye. Here are some photos he took Friday. As you can see, I need to stop referring to Celestun as a "flamingo" reserve as there are many other birds to be found.

Where is your visiting professor from? What will be her role this semester? Fun to see the pelicans but you can continue to refer to the flamingo gefuge if you like.
